HFMA Roadshow " Lean in Healthcare" Workshop presented by John Beakes, Jr

The HFMA Roadshow " Lean in Healthcare" Workshop presented by John Beakes, Jr., President and CEO of Operational Performance Solutions, Inc. is scheduled for the following dates:

February 13th in Baltimore, MD
February 20th in Hagerstown, MD
March 20th in Salisbury, MD

The presentations will be from 8am-12pm at all locations and the cost is a value at $25.

Lean is a method for improving quality and cost that is being rapidly adopted in healthcare with impressive results.  Denver Health's 2011 Annual Report cited over $140 million in financial benefits over the past several years.

This half-day Maryland HFMA Roadshow will offer a hands-on introduction to the use of Lean tools in healthcare and a roadmap for sustaining results.  Materials will include:
          - A review of results being achieved with Lean in all aspects of healthcare operations
            across the U.S., including case studies at mid-Atlantic hospitals.
          - Hands-on exercises that use Lean tools to improve processes.
          - Introduction to a systematic approach for implementing and sustaining the                  
            system, addressing both cultural and technicial aspects of the transformation process
